You Wouldn't Celebrate With A Soda

Have you seen the recent Quaker Oats ad for the Paris Olympics? It uses a simple yet impactful one-liner to capture attention and connect with viewers:

Sometimes, the simplest messages can be the most impactful. By drawing inspiration from successful campaigns like Quaker's, brands can create their own unique and memorable ad sets. Inspired by this approach, I decided to create a concept ad set for a different industry:

Champagne.

Let's see how French culture, the Olympic spirit, and a touch of nostalgia can come together to celebrate victory.

Overview

I started with a question: Can other brands and industries learn from the success of Quaker's simple yet effective ad campaign?

The "champions aren't made on croissants" tagline resonated strongly - its nostalgic feel and clear message sparked a desire to explore how a similar approach could be applied to other products and themes.

Creative Solution

The solution involved brainstorming! What product could benefit from a simple, one-liner approach? Champagne, the celebratory drink of champions, seemed like a perfect fit. With its connection to French culture, the Olympics, and the idea of victory, champagne offered a rich context for crafting impactful ad copy.

French culture, celebration, the Paris Olympics and a one-liner put together. That is what this ad set is!

Impact

This ad set is a conceptual piece, meant to demonstrate the power of a simple and direct message. The desired effect is to position champagne as the exclusive celebratory drink for champions. The focus is on positivity, victory, and exclusivity, appealing to those who strive to be the best.
